Say x is the ratio

Then corresponding sides are

ax , bx ,cx


Perimeter of one triangle = a+b+c

Perimeter of another triangle = ax + bx + cx = (a+b+c)x

Ratio = 5/4 = (a+b+c)/(a+b+c)x

x = 4/5

a/ax = a/(aƗ(4/5))= 5/4

Similarly other sides ratio = 5/4
