Using pythagoras theorem
Hypotenuse ^2 = Perpendicular ^2 + Base^2
And hypotenuse is always the longest side of remaining 2 sides.
But according to your question, triangle is not possible as hypotenuse can never be smaller than perpendicular.
Hope u understand

In this question hypotenuse should be 15 cm and perpendicular should be 13cm coz hypotenuse is the longest side
(H)² = (P)² + (B)²
(15)² = (13)² + (B)²
225 = 169 + (B)²
225 - 169 = (B)²
56 = (B)²
√56 = B
B = 7.48331
