DebashishJoshi: no its wrong answer. if david gives one marble to peter then david has 3 marbles and peter has 7 then how is 7 twice of 3
DebashishJoshi: so the answer should be david has 5 marbles and peter has 7 marbles . so that if peter gives one marble to david then both have same marbles that is 6 and if david gives one to peter then david has 4 marbles and pater has 8 which is twice of 4
shreya496: then plzz show me the process plzz..how it will come 5&7
DebashishJoshi: let peter has x marbles and david has y. now x-1=y+1. again 2(y-1)=x+1. by substracting these two equations you will get y=5 then you have to put the value of y in the 1st equation
DebashishJoshi: thrn you will get the vue of x
DebashishJoshi: the solution of the equation is (x-y-2)- (x-2y-3)=0 now both the x wil be cancelled and remaining will be y-5=0. so that y=5
saxenayashi890: well, i have corrected in the answer
DebashishJoshi: sry instead of x-2y-3 it will be x-2y+3
