If petrol is completely exhausted then there will be a sharp increase in the available oil resources.

• Though petrol will not completely exhaust, however if such a scenario happens, then the effects will be -

1. First, the most readily available and cheapest sources will be consumed.
2. People will then turn to other sources that are more complicated and more costly, such as offshore oil wells. When these exhausts, it will be much harder to get sources like coal oil.
3. All the vehicles that drive on petrol will become redundant, thereby causing chaos for consumers as well as producers.
4. The petroleum products producing units will be the most hit, and will lose all their business.
