If photon is used in equation to find gravity then answer comes zero then was the newton wrong?
Answers
Well obviously because the mass we define in Newton's law is called rest mass or inertial mass and we all know that photon's rest mass is zero...well this question falls in the category of general relativity and photons have relativistic mass ... but no Newton is not wrong but you can say that his theory has some limits ... I mean it is bounded , it have some conditions and when those conditions are full filled the Newton's law of gravity is valid as Newton what predicted that something which possess mass should apply gravitational force on other but it's more beyond that ( photons when come under influence of gravity it bends indicating that gravitational force is being applied on the photon ....this is know as PHOTOLENSING) but it's all related to the GENERAL THEORY OF RELATIVITY which i fear it's beyond your capability....so cheers... you can read general theory of relativity from internet if you are interested...
