Isoelectric point pI is b) 5.97.

Given - pK1 and pK2

Find - Isoelectric point pI

Solution - The Isoelectric point is the average of pk1 and pK2.

So, calculating pI.

pI =  \frac{2.34 + 9.60}{2}

Performing addition

pI =  \frac{11.94}{2}

Performing division

pI = 5.97

Hence, the Isoelectric point is b) 5.97.
