We know that water enter the cell only when the concentration of water outside the cell is much more than that of cell i.e hypotonic solution .

So , water will enter the cell till the concentration of water both inside and outside is same i.e isotonic solution is formed.

Isotonic condition is reached.

Explanation:

The plant cell is immersed in water, the water tends to move inside the cell if the concentration of water is more outside the cell and less inside the cell.

This is possible only because the cell is semipermeable. The movement of the water will take place until the concentration of the water is equal inside and outside the cell.

This is how the cells intake water from the soil to the plant. This process of movement of water is known as osmosis.
