If player in basketball deliberately scores a basket in his team, then the goal does not count and if the plays scores accidentally then 2 points will be given to the opposing team. These are same in both the FIBA and NBA.

Referee will judge and decide during the play, the bounds, and the ball to which side it belongs, and also keeps the time. Referee decides when a goal has been made and also keeps the account of all the baskets. All the other duties are done by a scorekeeper.
