Since the distance between the two points from given point (a,0)  is equal so
distance between (3,5) and (a,0)=distance between (7,1) and (a,0)

(3-a)^2+(5-0)^2=(7-a)^2+(1-0)^2

(3-a)^2-(7-a)^2=1-25
(3-a+7-a)(3-a-7+a)=-24
(10-2a)×(-4)=-24
10-2a=6
10-6=2a
4=2a
a=2
This is the answer
