Solution :

Given:

⚛ Potential difference = 15V

⚛ Current flow = 5A

⚛ Time interval = 1min

To Find:

⚛ Work done durring current flow

Concept:

⚛ First we have to find out charge after that we can calculate work done during current flow.

Formula:

  • Formula of charge

  \bigstar \:  \underline{ \boxed{ \bold{ \sf{ \pink{ \large{q = I \times t}}}}}}

  • Formula of work done

 \bigstar \:  \underline{ \boxed{ \bold{ \sf{ \blue{ \large{W = q \times ΔV}}}}}}

Terms indication:

  • q denotes charge
  • I denotes current flow
  • t denotes time interval
  • W denotes work done
  • ΔV denotes p.d.

Conversation:

⚛ 1min = 60sec

Calculation:

  • Calculation of charge

 \implies \sf \: q = I \times t \\  \\  \implies \sf \: q = 5 \times 60 \\  \\  \implies \sf \:  \boxed{ \green{ \sf{q = 300 \: C}}}

  • Calculation of work done

 \implies \sf \: W = q \times ΔV \\  \\  \implies \sf \: W = 300 \times 15 \\  \\  \implies \sf \: W = 4500  \\  \\  \implies \:  \underline{ \boxed{ \bold{ \sf{ \orange{ \large{Work \: done = 4.5 \: kJ}}}}}} \:  \gray{ \bigstar}
