if potsssium iodide reacts with lead nitrate to form potassium nitrate and lead iodide , then how this reaction is possible if potassium and iodide are respectively more reactive than lead and nitrate . Then Potassium iodide is more reactive than lead nitrate ( reactivity series)

potassium is more reactive than lead. therefore potassium displace lead from its solution
