pq = 12 cm, qr = 8 cm r and pr = 10 cm then pc measures 7 cm.

Given,

pq = 12 cm

qr = 8 cm

pr = 10 cm

x + (10 - x) + x + (12 - x) + (10 - x) + (12 - x) = 12 + 10 + 8

44 - 2x = 30

44 - 30 = 2x

14 = 2x

x = 7

∴ pc = x = 7 cm
