Here PR is the line, Q and M the points lying on it
WKT, PQ =RM
add QR on both sides, we get,
PQ+QR=RM+QR
PR=QM

Solve it in this way-- PQ=RM; add QR on both the sides
We'll get PQ+QR=RM+QR
Which is equal to PR=QM
Hence proved!
