if Pressure is inversely proportional to area then why is that a pin with a sharp edge can fit in a board with less pressure and a blunt pin needs more pressure??

Since pressure is inversely proportional to area a sharp pin exert high pressure and works better because it have less area of contact while a blunt pin have large area of contact and exit pressure on a large area.
