Answer:

pth term= a+(p-1)d=q

qth term=a+(q-1)d =p

a+pd-d=q

a+qd-d=p

Subtracting both equations

d(p-q)=(q-p)

d=-1.

nth term= a+(n-1)d

=a+1-n.

Now u have to find the value of a.

a+1-p=q

a= q+p-1

Therefore nth term is

q+p-1+1-n

q+p-n.
