If Quadratic Equation x Square - ax + 12 = 0 & x square -9 = 0 have a Common Root Then a = ?... Please Tell Me The Ans. (Urgent)​

Answer:

If 1 is one of the roots then x=1 should give 0 as remainder.

therefor-:

1+a+3 = 0

a = -4

Quadratic equation is = x² - 4x+3

x²-4x+3 = (x-1)(x+4)

Hence the other root is x = -4
