If R1 =10ohm, R2=40ohm,R3=30ohm,R4=20ohm and a 12V ate connected in parallel calculate the total resistance and the total current​

1/Rp=1/10+1/20+1/30+1/40

=24+12+8+6/240

=50/240

Rp=24/5=4.8ohm

V=12V

Rp=24/5

I=V/R

=12×5/24

=5/2=2.5A

Total resistance in parallel,

1/Rp= 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 + 1/R4

R1=10ohm

R2=40ohm

R3=30ohm

R4=20ohm

1/Rp= 1/10 + 1/40 + 1/30 + 1/20

1/Rp= (12 + 3 + 4 + 6)/120

1/Rp=25/120

1/Rp=5/24

Rp=4.8

total current,

i=v/r

i=12/4.8

i=2.5A
