if R1 is equals to 10 ohm, R2 is equals to 20 ohm and 3 is equals to 30 ohm calculate the effective resistance when they are connected in series to a battery of 6 volt also find the current flowing in the circuit

For series:

Req= R1+R2+Rn

Req=10+20+30=60 ohm

Now current,

I=V/Req = 6/60=1/10=0.1 A

Pls feel free to ask more doubts.

Explanation:

R1 = 10Ω

R2 = 20Ω

R3 = 30Ω

R = ?

Effective resistance {R} = R1 + R2 + R3

= (10 + 20 + 30)Ω

= 60Ω

V = 6V

V = IR

Current {I} = V/R

I = 6/60

I = 1/10

I = 0.1 A
