Answer:R2 & R3 are in series so R23 = 4 + 4 = 8 Ω

R23 is parallel to R4, so R234 :-

1/R234 = 1/8 + 1/4

1/R234 = 0.125 + 0.25

R234 = 2.67 Ω

R1 , R5 and R234 in series, so equivalent resistance R' = 4 + 4 + 2.67 = 10.67 Ω

Equivalent resistance = 10.67 Ω
