Answer:the distance is 5cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius, r=3cm

Tangent=4cm

This makes a triangle

Name the triangle OPA

We have to find the hypotenuse

Using Pythagoras theorem

OP^2= OA^2+AP^2

= 3^2+4^2

= 9+16

OP^2=25

OP= root 25

OP= 5cm

Therefore, the distance from the center of a circle to an eternal point is 5cm
