If radius of a cylinder is doubled and height is halved then show that the volume will be doubled

Old volume = πr^2h
new volume = π(2r)^2(h/2)
π(4r^2)(h/2)
= 4πr^2h/2
= 2πr^2h
Hence, we shown that the volume is doubled
