Question:-

If radius of circle is 28 cm, Then find it's perimeter.

Solution:-

Given,

Radius of the circle = 28 cm

We know that the formula of perimeter of circle is = 2πr sq.unit

As the value of π is approx. 22/7

 =  > Perimeter = (2 \times  \frac{22}{7}   \times 28) \:  cm

 =  > Perimeter =( 2 \times 22 \times 4) {cm}^{2}

 =  > Perimeter = 176 \:  cm

Hence, The perimeter of the circle is 176 cm.

Additional information:-

Circles

\bullet The perimeter of the circle is also known as the circumference.

\bullet The distance between the midpoint and the. border of the circle is called the radius of the circle.

\bullet The distance between the two circle borders is called the diameter of the circle which is 2 × radius.

\bullet The formula of area of a circle is πr² where π equals to 22/7.
