Step-by-step explanation:

if radius of circle = r

then, the area(S*) will be, S* = π× r^2

Now if radius diminished by 10% that means, new radius will be 9r/10

this time the area will be, S'= π× r^2× 81/100

So, S*:S'= 1: 100/81

or, S*:S' = 81:100

so the ans is (100-81)= 19%
