Radius of new circle = 2a
Area of original circle = pi *a^2
Area of new circle = pi *(2a)^2
= 4 pi a^2
Area of new circle = 4 * Area of original circle
=> Required ratio = 1:4
Radius of new circle = 2a
Area of original circle = pi *a^2
Area of new circle = pi *(2a)^2
= 4 pi a^2
Area of new circle = 4 * Area of original circle
=> Required ratio = 1:4
