Given- Radius=r=0.342 cm

To find - Cross sectional area=?

Solution- Area of cross section of a cylindrical rod=  area of a circle if cut

                                                                             parllel to the circular base

                             =\pi r²=22/7×0.342²

                             =22/7×0.116964

                             =0.3676cm ²       (approx)
