If radius of the base of a cylinder is 7 cm and its height is 60 cm. Find:

•Curved surface area of the cylinder​

Cylinder

Diameter = 7 cm

Radius = Diameter/2 = 7/2 cm

Height = 60 cm

Volume of Cylinder = π R² H

= (22/7) (7/2)² * 60

= 11 * 7 * 30

= 2310 cm³

Curved surface Area = 2πRH

= 2(22/7)(7/2)* 60

= 1320 cm²

Total Surface area = Curved surface area + 2πR²

= 1320 + 2(22/7)(7/2)²

= 1320 + 77

= 1397 cm²
