Step-by-step explanation:

(i)

curved \: surface \: area \: of \: cylinder = 2\pi rh

 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 60

 = 2 \times 22 \times 1 \times 60

 = 44 \times 60 = 2640 \:  {cm}^{2}

(ii)

total \: surface \: area \: of \: cylinder = 2\pi r(r + h)

 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times (7 + 60)

 = 2 \times 22 \times 1 \times 67

 = 44 \times 67 = 2948 \:  {cm}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

(i) curved surface area of cylinder = 2 x pi x r x h

=> pi = 22/7

= 2 x 22/7 x 7 x 60

= 2 x 22 x 60

= 44 x 60

= 2640 Sq.cm

(ii) Total surface area of cylinder = 2 x pi x r ( r+h)

= 2 x 22/7 x 7 ( 7+60)

= 2 x 22/7 x 7 ( 67 )

= 2 x 22 x 67

= 44 x 67

= 2948 Sq.cm
