Price of the item = Rs 200

Discount percent = 20%

Discount price  = 20/100 × 200

                                 = Rs 40

Price of the item after discount = rs 200 - rs 40

                                                     = Rs 160

Total money ram had = Rs 500

Amount of money left with after purchase = Rs 500 - Rs 160

                                                                      = Rs 340

Percent of money spent on refreshments = 10%

Amount of money spent on refreshments = 340 - (10/100 × 340)

                                                                      = 340 - 34

                                                                       = Rs 306

Therefore Ram is left with Rs 306
