Ratio of circumference: 3:1

∴2πr₁ : 2πr₂  =  3:1

r1/r2 = 3/1

Area's ratio = r₁²\r₂² = 3²/1² = 9/1

The ratio of area is = 9:1

Answer:

ratio of the areas = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Circle one radius = R₁

& Second circle Radius = R₂

Circumference of Circle 1 = 2 \piR₁

Circumference of Circle 2 = 2 \pi R₂

C₁/C₂ =  \frac{3}{1}

2\piR₁/2\piR₂ = \frac{3}{1}

R₁/R₂ = \frac{3}{1}

R₁ = 3R₂

Area of Circle 1 = \piR₁²

Area of Circle 2 = \piR₂²

A₁/A₂ = \piR₁² / \piR₂²

A₁/A₂ =\pi(3R₂)² / \piR₂²

A₁/A₂  = 9

ratio of the areas = 9
