Infinite current would pass through the circuit. Because I=V/R. As R=0 then I=V/0 =infinite

Answer: The answer is

The current will be infinity or not defined

Explanation:By ohm's law

V=IR

I=V/R

If resistance is zero, then....

I=V/0V

Taking 1/0 commonly out we get

I=1/0×V/R

We know that V/R = I

So ....

I=1/0 I

We know that 1/0 is infinity or not defined

Hence the current becomes infinity or not defined when resistance is zero
