☆Hello friend☆
SP of 1 kg rice = Rs 36
SP of 40 kg rice = Rs 36 × 40
=Rs 1440
Let the CP be Rs 100
SP = Rs (100+20)= Rs 120
If SP is Rs 120 then CP = Rs 100
If SP is Rs 1 then CP = Rs 100/120
If SP is Rs 1440 then CP =Rs 100/120 × 1440
= 100/12 × 144
=100× 12
= Rs 1200
