If rice is sown in the month of November, how is the produce likely to be impacted? And why?

rice need more water and if there was no rainfall and the area is not also have sufficient amount of water so the rice will not able to grow.

Answer :

On the basis of monsoons in India, below are the major classification of cropping seasons:

Kharif - cropping is during the south-west monsoon i.e rainy season from from July –October.

Rabi - cropping is in winter season i.e. from October to March

Summer crops are cultivated in the months of March, April, May and June.

Rice paddy requires more water for cultivation and it is a Kharif crop. November which falls under Rabi season is not the best time for rice cultivation. If the rice is sown in this time, there will be water scarcity due to which the cultivation of crop is highly impacted and it may become dry and may not grow well.
