if root 2 is equal to 1.4 and root 3 is equal to 1.7 find the value of each of the following, correct to one decimal place:
1: 1/root 3-root 2
2:1/3+2 root 2

1.

1 \div 1.73

= 0.5882 = 0.59

= 0.59 - 1.41

= -0.82

2.

1 \div 3 \\

= 0.33 + (2x1.41 = 2.82)

= 0.33 + 2.82

= 3.15

3.

root \: 3 \:  \div  \: root \: 3

= 1....

Therefore 2 - 1

= 1
