√2 ^ n = 64 ⇒ 2 ^ n/2 = 2 ^ 6 ⇒ n / 2 = 6 ⇒ n = 12 This is a mathematical equation.

Though there are many ways in which this equation can be solved, but this is known to be one of the easiest ways of solving it

 (\sqrt{2} ) ^n = 64

Write the square root as exponent:

 (2 )^\frac{n}{2} = 64

Write 64 as 2⁶:

 (2 )^\frac{n}{2} = 2^6

Since both numbers are 2, the exponents are equal:

 \dfrac{n}{2}  = 6

Multiply 2 on both sides:

 n = 12

Answer: n = 12
