Rate = R, P = Rs 3,750 t = 3 years
Simple Interest = Rs 4,260 - Rs 3, 750 = Rs 510
P R t = 3, 750 * R * 3 = 510
R = 170/3750 = 4.53 %

Simple interest on Rs 7, 500 for 11/2 years at R = 4.53%
= Rs 1, 868.625
Total sum = Rs 9, 368.625
