principal = 400

time1×2=2 years

rate = 10/2= 5% (interest is calculated in half yearly )

CI =Amount - principal

A= p (1+r/100)^t

A= 400 (1+5/100)^2

A= 400 (105/100)^2

A= 400×105/100×105/100

A= 441 rupee
