Answer:

5:3 is the given ratio between A and B

Let's assume,

Amount of A = 5x (eqn 1)

and, Amount of B = 3x (eqn 2)

From, the question we get;

5x + 3x = 240 (eqn 3)

=> 8x = 240

=> x = 240/8

=> x = 30

Putting value of x in (eqn 1) & (eqn 2) we get;

Amount of A = 5x = 5 × 30 = Rs. 150

Amount of B = 3x = 3 × 30 = Rs. 90

Hence, Solved.

hope it's your helpful..

Answer:

Let the share of A, B and C be 2x, 3x and 5x.

According to the problem,

2x+3x+5x=90

10x=90

x=9

A's share = 2×9=₹18

B's share = 3×9=₹27

C's share = 5×9=₹45

Therefore, B's share be ₹27 .... option (D)
