If rupees 250 is to be divided among ravi,raju and roy ,so that ravi gets two parts,rajuthreeparts and roy five parts how much money will each get?What will it be in percentage?

Given :

Ravi gets = 2 parts

Raju gets = 3 parts

Roy gets = 5 parts

So, Total parts = 10 parts

Finding Fraction-

Ravi gets = 2/10 = 1/5

Raju gets = 3/10

Roy gets = 5/10 = 1/2

Finding shares -

Ravi's Share =


$250 \times \dfrac{1}{5} = \dfrac{250}{5} = 50$


Hence : Ravi's Share = Rs 50.

Raju's Share =


$250 \times \dfrac{3}{10} = \dfrac{750}{10} = 75$


Hence : Raju's Share = Rs 75

Roy's Share =


$250 \times \dfrac{1}{2} = \dfrac{250}{2} = 125$


Hence : Roy's Share = Rs 125 .

Finding Percentages -

Ravi's Percentage =


$\dfrac{50}{250} \times 100 = 20\%$


Raju's Percentage =


$\dfrac{75}{250} \times 100 = 30\%$


Roy's Percentage =


$\dfrac{125}{250} \times 100 = 50\%$

Ravi gets = Rs 50 and his Percentage = 20 %


Raju gets = Rs 75 and his Percentage = 30 %


Roy gets = Rs 125 and his Percentage = 50 %

Solution :-

Part of money that Ravi gets = 2 parts

Part of money that Raju gets = 3 parts

Part of money that Roy gets = 5 parts

Total sum of money= RS 250

therefore, the distribution of money will be in the ratio of 2:3:5

Share of each= 2+3+5=10

Ravi gets  2/10th part

Raju gets 3/10th part

Roy gets 5/10th or 1/2 part

2/10+3/10+5/10=250

250/10=25

Ravi=25×2=Rs 50

Raju=25×3=Rs 75

Roy=25× 5=Rs125

Therefore,

Ravi gets Rs 50/- , Raju gets Rs 75/- and roy gets Rs 125/-.
