Given :

Saritha has ' x ' marbles.

Ammena had ' x+10 ' marbles

Appu has ' x+20 ' marbles

Total Marbles together is 60 marbles

To find :

How many marbles does Saritha has?

Solution :

As, according to the given condition,

 \therefore \: x + x + 10 + x + 20 \:  = 60 \\    \\  \therefore \: 3x + 30 = 60 \\  \\ \therefore 3x = 60 - 30 \\  \\  \therefore \: 3x = 30 \\  \\  \therefore \: x =  \frac{30}{3}  \\  \\  \therefore \boxed  {x = 10}

Let us verify,

1 ) Sarita has 'x' marbles = 10 marbles

2 ) Ameena has ' x+10 ' marbles = 10+10

= 20 marbles

3 ) Appu has ' x+20 ' marbles = 10+20

= 30 marbles

Answer : Sarita has 10 marbles

Number of marbles Saritha has = 10

Given:

Saritha has x marbles, Ameena has x + 10 marbles and Appu has x + 20

The total number of marbles they have together is 60

To find:

How many marbles does Saritha have

Solution:

From the data,

No of the marbles Saritha has = x

No of the marbles Ameena has = x + 10

No of the marbles Appu has = x + 20

And the total number of marbles = 60

Sum marble Saritha, Ameena, and Appu = 60

=> x + x + 10 + x + 20 = 60

=> 3x + 30 = 60

=> 3x = 30

=> x = 10

Hence,

Number of marbles Saritha has = 10
