If sec A+tanA=x then find the value of tanA??

heya friend !!!

secA+tanA=x -------1)

if you rationalise it..it become ..

secA-tanA/sec^2A-tan^2A=1/x....

so,secA-TanA=1/x------2)

subtracting 1 and 2 equation ,then we get...
secA+tanA-secA+tanA=x-1/x

=>2tanA=x^2-1/x

tanA=x^2-1/2x.ans..
