If set of marbles of radius 5 cm, is poured into a cube of side 1m. The maximum
number of marbles that can be filled into the box are​

Given:

Radius of a marble = 5 cm = 0.05 m

Side of the cube = 1 m

To find:

Number of marbles that can fit into the box.

Solution:

Volume of one marble = \frac{4}{3} \pi r^{3}

= \frac{4}{3} *\frac{22}{7} * 0.05^{3}

= 0.00052 m³

Volume of the cube = a³ = (1)³ = 1

Here a is the side length of the cube.

Number of marbles that can be filled into the cube = 1/ 0.00052 = 1909.85

Decimal part cannot be included if a marble cannot be cut into parts.

Therefore 1909 marbles can be filled into the cube.
