Given:
Radius of a marble = 5 cm = 0.05 m
Side of the cube = 1 m
To find:
Number of marbles that can fit into the box.
Solution:
Volume of one marble =
=
= 0.00052 m³
Volume of the cube = a³ = (1)³ = 1
Here a is the side length of the cube.
Number of marbles that can be filled into the cube = 1/ 0.00052 = 1909.85
Decimal part cannot be included if a marble cannot be cut into parts.
Therefore 1909 marbles can be filled into the cube.
