According to the question, Sharda has 50 rupees notes, its 5 times she has 20 rupees notes and She has total 900 rupees.
Then,
20 x + 50 y = 900 ......... (1)
From the given data we know that, Sharda has twice as many as 20 rupees as 50 rupees which indirectly means that,
x = 2y ......... (2)
Put this value in equation (1) , we get:
20 (2y) + 50 y = 900
40 y + 50 y = 900
90 y = 900
y = 900 / 90
y = 10
Put this value in equation (2), we get:
x = 2y
x = 2 (10)
x = 20
Hence,
20 . (20) + 50 . (10) = 900
which shows that Sharda has 20 Twenty rupee notes and 10 Fifty rupee notes.
Hope it will help you. Thanks.

Let no of notes of ₹ 50 be x & ₹ 20 notes will be 5x.
Value of ₹50 notes= 50× x= 50x
Value of ₹20 notes = 20 × 5x= 100x
50x + 100x =900
150x = 900
x= 900/150= 90/15
x= 6
₹50 notes = x = 6
₹20 notes = 5x = 5× 6= 30
Hence, Sharda have ₹ 20 notes= 30
