if two triangles are similar

then,

area of triangle A/ area of triangle B=square of side of triangle A / square of side of triangle B

so,

4*4/9*9=area of triangle A/ area of triangle B

16/81=area of triangle A/ area of triangle B

hence the ratio of the areas is 16:81
