If sides of two similar trianglesvare in ratio 4:3, then find the ratio of areas of these triangles.

If two triangles are similar then the ratio of their area are equal to square of the ratio of their corresponding sides.
So area of triangle 1 / area of triangle 2 =
( 4/3) whole square
= 16 /9
So the ratio of areas are 16/9
