Answer=    mean (µ)= ∑xi/50=16

                 standard deviation (σ)=√∑x^2i/50-(µ)^2=16

                                                     = (256)*2=∑x^2i/50

                                                     New mean

                                                    =∑(xi-4)^2/50  

                                                     =∑x^2i+16*50-8∑xi/50= (256)*2=16-8*16

                                                      =400
