if sin 0=1/2 and cos 0=√3/2, find the values of cot 0 and sec 0.​

Explanation :-

given that ,

sin θ = ½ , cos θ = √3/2

to find ;-

  • cot θ
  • secθ

Solution ;-

sin 30° = ½

so ,

θ = 30°

cosθ = 1/secθ

⇒ secθ = 1/cosθ = √3/2 = 2/√3

cotθ = cosθ/sinθ = (√3/2) / (½)

= √3/2 * 2 = √3
