Sin theta = 1/3 = P/H
P = 1 , H = 3 , P = ?
(H)² = (P)² + (B)²
(P)² = (H)² - (B)²
(P)² = (3)² - (1)²
P = 9-1 = ✓8.
Cot theta = B/P = 1/✓8
Therefore,
2Cot theta + 2 = 2×1/✓8 + 2 = 2/✓8 + 2 = 2+2✓8/✓8 = 2+2✓8/✓8× ✓8/✓8 = 2+2×8/8 = 32/8 = 4
