here I've assumed theta as alpha

 { \sin^{2}(\alpha ) } + { \cos^{2}( \alpha ) } = 1 \\ {1}^{2} + { \cos ^{2} ( \alpha ) } = 1 \\ { \cos( \alpha ) }^{2} = 1 - 1 \\ { \cos ^{2} ( \alpha ) } = 0 \\ \cos( \alpha ) = 0 \\ \\ \cot( \alpha ) = \frac{ \cos( \alpha ) }{ \sin( \alpha ) } \\ { \cot( \alpha ) } = \frac{0}{1 } \\ \cot( \alpha ) = 0

2(0)2+3
=3
