sin(20+Φ) = cos30°

So now we may have to cancel out sin and cos .To do this we will have to cancel them out. We ca do this sum in two ways:

CHANGING INTO SIN

sin (20+Φ) = cos30

sin (20+Φ) = cos(90–60)

Since sinΦ = cos (90-Φ)

sin (20+Φ) = sin60.

Cancelling sin from both sides

20+Φ= 60

Φ= 60–20

Φ = 40
