Given

sin3A = cos( A - 18)

We know

sin A = cos (90° - A)

So,

sin3A = cos( A - 18)

=> cos ( 90° - 3A ) = cos ( A - 18)

Therefore,

90° -3A = A - 18°

=> 4A = 90°-18°

=> A = 72°/4

=> A = 18°
